Onions and Garlic

There are times that we all want to share our food with our pets. It makes us feel good to spoil them or give them special treats. This can be especially true at holiday times like Christmas when we are really enjoying being around family and friends and cooking great food to share.

During the holidays, we also tend to leave food out more than usual for easy snacking. We may let our guard down, too, because we are having fun socializing with friends and family. During these times we probably do not pay as much attention to where our pets are and what they are doing. This can be dangerous, because our pets will take advantage of this to sneak bites of whatever they can! Before you start sharing your holiday food and fun with your pet, here are some foods and ingredients that you need to be especially careful with. This applies not only to the holidays, but all year long, too!
