The dogs and I run pretty much every weekday during most weeks.You’d be surprised at how many people are up early walking or running.We always run into other people and other dogs (not to mention the wildlife you run across at dawn!).I’ve always thought that you could write a book about the events of early morning runs!

I run every morning with my two dogs, Rose and Phoebe.I’ve been doing this since Rose was young – about 5 years now!I can’t believe that she’s eight-and-a-half.Phoebe is just a youngster and has just started joining us.She’s a year and a half old.These runs are a great way to start the day –they get your mind and body going at the same time.I use them sometimes to organize the day, but mostly, my mind just wanders and since the dogs are with me, it usually seems to wander along dog related tracks (surprise, surprise).
