Happy Holidays !
Happy Holidays from AskDrHeather to You! We know you like to include your pets in your holiday celebrations because we do, too. This special holiday edition of our newsletter has some special hints for safely including your pet into your holiday activities so read on... and have a safe and merry holiday season. We don't want to see you for an emergency that could have been prevented!

One of the very best things about the holidays is all of the great food! Especially...let's see...cookies, cakes, pies, christmas dinner, candy, hmmm...seems like a long list! And then there are the great leftoevers you get to eat afterwards!! Yum! I can't wait.
All of these great smells and foods are tempting for our pets, too. They'll take any opportunity to sneak a bite; and, let's face it, we're tempted to share with them. It makes us feel good to give the dog or cat a little bite. Remember, though, many of the foods that are OK for us can be toxic for our pets. You probably are familiar with some, but read more to find out about some of the more interesting holiday things that our pets get into.
